About Us
Our mission is to provide emergency shelter and essential resources to the Hmong and Southeast Asian communities. We offer a culturally sensitive environment where individuals and families facing homelessness can find safety, support, and a pathway forward. Our approach addresses the root causes of homelessness, with a unique focus on individual needs—whether it’s addiction recovery, mental health support, addressing abuse, or nurturing spiritual well-being. Through compassion and faith, we empower those in need, guiding them to overcome barriers, rebuild their lives, and achieve lasting well-being with dignity and hope.

Community Needs
In recent years, homelessness among Hmong and Southeast Asian communities in the Twin Cities significantly increased. This issue is exacerbated by a lack of support within these communities, primarily due to factors such as substance abuse, cultural shock, shortages of affordable housing, broken relationships and insufficient mental health awareness. These critical issues are often not openly discussed or adequately addressed, leaving many individuals without the necessary support. Alarmingly, statistics indicate that one in three homeless adults is turned away from shelters due to insufficient capacity.
